Recently here at Passle we've been working on getting posts without images to display something nice on social media (Facebook, Twitter shares etc.).

This is a difficult issue because there is no default social media image size. Luckily someone has created a cheat sheet so you can decide for yourself what size each image you put on social media should be. It's a couple of years old but should still be relevant.

If you're still struggling to find a good size we recommend the following:

  • A landscape image should be approx. 1024 x 512 px
  • A portrait image should be approx. 800 x 1200 px
